KFC is looking into bringing potato wedges back to the menu with a test at five locations in the Tampa Bay, FL area for two weeks (starting on March 10, 2025), while supplies last.
KFC Potato Wedges feature lightly battered and seasoned fried potato wedges. They were discontinued in 2020 and replaced with Secret Recipe Fries.
The fast-food chain might introduce potato wedges back nationally if the Tampa Bay test goes well. According to KFC, “Tampa, it’s up to you if we bring them back nationally. No pressure!”
You can find Potato Wedges at the following test locations:
- 1605 W. Kennedy Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33606
- 770 34th Street, N., St. Petersburg, FL 33713
- 4402 W. Gandy Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33611
- 3105 Havendale Boulevard, Auburndale, FL 33823
- 1492 N. Broadway Avenue, Bartow, FL 33830
You can only order them in-restaurant during the test (so you may want to call ahead to check availability). The Potato Wedges are available a la carte or as a side option in a meal.
