Amazon has discounted the turquoise Nintendo Switch Lite to $170 for a limited time. The deal is sold and shipped by Amazon, and it’s unlikely to stick around for long. The $30 discount is very close to the lowest price offered by Amazon for the Switch Lite. It was briefly available for $165 earlier this year, but the handheld-only Switch console sells for full price at major retailers more often than not.
The three other Switch Lite colors are also available for discounts, but these are sold by third-party sellers. That said, they ship straight from Amazon and most of these offers are eligible for Prime shipping. The yellow Switch Lite is discounted to $176, while the blue and gray models are available for roughly $188. Target has an Animal Crossing-themed pink Switch Lite bundle that comes with a digital copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons for $200.
Though it’s late in the Switch’s lifecycle, the vast library will be relevant for many years to come. Over the past seven years, the Switch has accumulated one of the most impressive game libraries of all time. You’ve got first-party titles like the superb Super Mario Bros. Wonder and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, robust third-party support that makes the Switch Lite perfect for indie games, and the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service has a lot to offer retro gaming fans.
Before you make your purchase, you should know that Nintendo is releasing a gold Zelda-themed Switch Lite on September 26, the same day as The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Preorders are available now at multiple major retailers, including Best Buy and Target. The $210 special-edition Switch Lite comes with 12 months of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack ($50 value).
And if you want to step up to the Nintendo Switch OLED, you can get the hard-to-find Zelda-themed model for regular price at Amazon.
