Burger King introduces the new Steakhouse Bacon Whooper as a limited-time variant of its signature burger. It also brings back the Fiery Big Fish and Jalapeno Cheddar Bites.
According to the fast-food burger chain, customer requests and comments inspired the Steakhouse Bacon Whopper. It features a quarter-pound, flame-grilled beef patty served with A.1. steak sauce, crispy-fried onions, bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and creamy peppercorn aioli on a toasted sesame seed bun. Prices vary but it costs $9.39 at my local Burger in Los Angeles (compared to $7.99 for a regular Whopper).
The Steakhouse Bacon Whopper is the latest in a line of “Steakhouse” burgers that Burger King has trotted out over the years.
The Fiery Big Fish is a spicy version of Burger King’s regular menu Big Fish sandwich. It consists of a panko-crust Alaskan pollock filet coated with a triple pepper spicy glaze and served with sweet tartar sauce, lettuce, and pickles on a toasted potato bun. It costs $4.39 near me.
Burger King’s Jalapeno Cheddar Bites feature crispy-fried bites filled with melty cheddar cheese and jalapeno pieces. A 4-piece order costs $1.99 near me.
Burger King also expands on its “Have It Your Way” theme for a limited time by offering a choice of a same-sized side for no additional cost in its combo meals. You can choose from French Fries, Onion Rings, Have-sies, Chicken Fries, Mozzarella Fries, or Churro Fries.
