Capcom’s next big retro fighting game collection, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, is set to launch on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2025. The new collection will feature eight classic Capcom fighting games, including the fan-favorite cross-over Capcom vs. SNK, multiplayer free-for-all brawlers Power Stone 2, and obscure gems like Plasma Sword, just to name a few. While we don’t yet have a firm release date, physical editions for Nintendo Switch and PS4 are now up for preorder at Amazon–and they include a very cool bonus.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Preorder Bonus: Exclusive Comic Book
Just like with the recently released physical edition of Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, physical edition preorders of Capcom Fighting Collection 2 come with an exclusive comic book.
Only the initial batch of Capcom Fighting Collection 2 physical copies will include an all-new Capcom vs. SNK comic made by Udon Entertainment in honor of the crossover series’ return in this new collection. While this isn’t strictly a preorder bonus–the comic will be included in launch copies–supplies are limited, so preordering will ensure you get a copy that includes the comic.
If you haven’t picked up the physical edition of Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection, which released November 22, you still might be able to get the exclusive comic book for that collection if you buy it soon.
While there are several great fighting games in this release, Capcom Fighting Collection 2’s marquee titles are Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight Pro and Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark Of The Millenium 2001. These two games were big deals at the time of their original release, bringing together a roster of characters from two of the biggest fighting game studios of all time. Fans have waited years for the crossover series to return, and the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will finally bring Capcom vs. SNK to modern consoles.
There are eight total games included in the collection, including several cult classics that haven’t seen official re-releases in decades–if at all. Here’s the full list of titles included in Capcom Fighting Collection 2:
- Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro
- Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millenium 2001
- Capcom Fighting Evolution
- Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper
- Power Stone
- Power Stone 2
- Project Justice
- Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein
That’s an impressive lineup for a budget-priced collection–especially considering these will be playable with online matchmaking and rollback netcode. And if the previous Capcom Fighting Collection and Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection are any indication, fans can look forward to plenty of extras like in-game art galleries, music players, and more.
Capcom Fight Collection 2 launches on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2025. In the meantime, if you still need to pick up Capcom’s other fighting game collections, The Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection is available for $50 on PS4 and Switch. A physical Xbox edition is planned to launch in 2025, but preorders are not yet available. The first Capcom Fighting Collection is harder to find, but Switch copies are currently $37 at Amazon.
