Krispy Kreme introduces a new line of donut holes that they’re calling “Donut Dots.”
Donut Dots are a permanent part of the Krispy Kreme menu where they join the donut chain’s Original Glazed Donut Holes (now renamed as “Original Glazed Donut Dots”).
The new assorted Donut Dots are available in four varieties:
- Powdered – An Original Glazed donut hole tossed in a “sweet, powdered topping” (the odd phrasing makes it seem more than powdered sugar but I can’t find the ingredients for it on the Krispy Kreme website).
- Sprinkled – An Original Glazed donut hole with rainbow nonpareils.
- Cinnamon – An Original Glazed donut hole tossed in a cinnamon topping (these are listed on the Krispy Kreme website as “artificially flavored”).
- Cookie Crumb – An Original Glazed donut hole tossed in a cookie crumb topping and sprinkled with sweet, powdered topping.
The new donut hole flavors actually fill a gap in Krispy Kreme’s donut menu. Except for the Sprinkle version, Krispy Kreme doesn’t offer regular-sized versions of the other three flavors.
Krispy Kreme’s Donut Dots are available in a 10‑count cup or 24-count box of assorted donut holes.
As a promotion to push the new launch, from June 10 through 16, 2024, you can get a 10-count cup of assorted or Original Glazed Donut Dots for $1 with the purchase of any dozen donuts at participating locations chain-wide.
