In Fortnite, four years can seem like an eternity. That’s about how long it’s been since Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft made her debut in the game. Since then, Lara’s been conspicuously absent from the popular battle-royale. However, a notable Fortnite leaker has indicated this could soon change as soon as this week.
According to frequent Fortnite scooper SpushFNBR, a new Lara Croft skin is headed to the Fortnite shop. SpushFNBR shared the news on X, as well as a breakdown of Lara’s new skin, which may resemble her outfit from 2003’s Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. Lara herself will cost 1,500 V-Bucks, while her various accessories range from 300-800 V-Bucks. Lara’s entire Tomb Raider package comes to 2,200 V-Bucks, excluding the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. The jeep will be 2,200 V-Bucks by itself.

Fortnite continues to be the convergence of popular characters from TV, film, and video games, as well as real-life figures. One of the other recent leaks suggests Kendrick Lamar is getting a Fortnite collaboration. Even Crocs have now found their way into Fortnite. One person who is definitely coming to the game is MLB’s reigning MVP and a member of the 2024 World Series champions, Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
As for Lara Croft herself, she hasn’t had a mainline Tomb Raider game since 2018’s Shadow of the Tomb Raider. A new Tomb Raider game is reportedly in development, but Amazon Prime Video’s live-action Tomb Raider could be released first. Game of Thrones’ Sophie Turner is reportedly up for the role of Lara Croft herself.
