The Northwoods Walleye Sandwich and Northwoods Walleye Dinner make their annual return to Culver’s for the 2025 seafood/Lenten season.
A seasonal fast-food fish sandwich, Culver’s Northwoods Walleye Sandwich features a battered and deep-fried Northwoods Walleye filet served with the chain’s special tartar sauce and shredded lettuce on a lightly buttered, toasted hoagie roll.
The Northwoods Walleye Dinner includes two or three battered and deep-fried Northwoods Walleye filets served with tartar sauce, two sides, and a warm dinner roll.
Prices vary but the Northwoods Walleye Sandwich costs $7.99 in Sauk City, WI (where Culver’s was founded) while the Northwoods Walleye Dinner is $14.49.
The walleye is a “mild and tender” freshwater fish found in most of Canada and the Northern United States. The Northwoods is a forest that covers half of Canada and parts of the Northern United States.
While Culver’s only offers Northwoods Walleye for a limited time around this time of the year through early April, the fast-casual chain regularly serves several seafood menu items including the North Atlantic Cod Sandwich, North Atlantic Cod Dinner, Butterfly Jumbo Shrimp, and Butterfly Jumbo Shrimp Dinner.
