Offering a twist on this year’s Panda Express steak-and-shrimp pairing, the American Chinese fast-food chain just wrapped up a test of new Truffle Soy Steak & Shrimp.
The dish recently appeared on the menu in at least one location in Southern California.
Panda Express’ Truffle Soy Steak & Shrimp features steak, shrimp, and veggies (broccoli, mushroom, and onion) wok-tossed in a truffle-infused soy garlic sauce. Compared to this year’s limited-time Firecracker Steak and Shrimp dish, it’s a non-spicy option with a different taste profile and a different combination of vegetables.
As with the rest of Panda Express’ shrimp and steak entrees, Truffle Soy Steak & Shrimp carries a premium price upcharge versus the chain’s other entrees.
