Domino’s Parmesan Stuffed Crust Pizza is a medium pizza made with the chain’s Handmade Pan Pizza dough, stuffed with cheese made with mozzarella, and topped with Domino’s signature garlic seasoning and Parmesan.
I bought one topped with pepperoni for $10.99.
As with most stuffed pizzas, the ring of melted cheese inside the edge added a good deal of girth to the end crust. The end crust is probably twice as big as Domino’s regular pizza which means you’re getting about a small pizza’s worth of toppings rather than a medium pizza’s worth.
Unlike the Handmade Pan Pizza that uses the same dough, the Parmesan Stuffed Crust Pizza is cooked like the chain’s regular pizza on a flat pan. The resultant crust had a very thin crispiness all along the bottom, side, and exposed top. Contrasting with the crispiness was a very pillowy crumb that’s had me thinking bread more than pizza crust. It wasn’t a bad thing though.
The cheese inside the crust was plentiful, soft, and slightly gooey. For all the parmesan sprinkled on top of the crust, the flavor it delivered was very mild. The buttery garlic seasoning was the stronger flavor here. Between the parmesan and the seasoning, it was surprisingly (and thankfully) subdued in terms of saltiness.
Overall, Domino’s Parmesan Stuffed Crust Pizza turned out pretty well. I especially like the uniform crispiness of the crust and the signature garlic seasoning which stand out against other stuffed crust pizzas. The cheese stuffed into the end crust was similar to competing offerings from Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, and Papa Johns.
