Jack in the Box’s Waffle Sticks are available in a 3-piece order for $3. A side of syrup for dipping is included.
My order of Waffle Sticks was pipping hot and crispy with a moist interior. There was a bit of a funnel cake feel to them that probably would have been accentuated if I dusted them with some powdered sugar.
There was a light sweetness to the Waffle Sticks that worked out well for dipping in syrup.
My particular batch was pretty oily though. The oilyness was enough to seep into the batter a bit.
Overall, Jack in the Box’s Waffle Sticks were pretty enjoyable but seem just a touch unnecessary given that the chain already offers two similar products in Mini Churros and French Toast Sticks. You can consider them to be like the Mini Churros minus the cinnamon-sugar and filling or like a crunchier French Toast Stick but not as eggy.
