Taco Bell’s Steak Garlic Nacho Fries feature seasoned fries topped with a Garlic Ranch Sauce, marinated grilled steak, pico de gallo, shredded cheddar cheese, and nacho cheese sauce.
I paid $5.69 for an order.
My Steak Garlic Nacho Fries turned out really well. The sauce was the only major change over Taco Bell’s previous topped fries offerings.
The seasoned fries actually stayed fairly crispy with some surprisingly crunchy bites here and there.
The Garlic Ranch Sauce was very garlicky with a tangy, creamy base. It went really well with the other ingredients. The shredded cheese was mostly there for texture but managed a light cheesy flavor that was buoyed by the creamy nacho cheese sauce.
The steak wasn’t plentiful but the pieces were flavorful, tender, and meaty.
The pico de gallo was a welcomed addition over the previous diced tomatoes as it presented the same freshness but with more flavors, a contrasting tang, and a bit of a bite from the onions.
Overall, Taco Bell Steak Garlic Nacho Fries really came together well. There were a lot of enjoyable flavors and textures that played well with the new Garlic Ranch Sauce.
