Southern Fried Shrimp is back at Zaxbys for the 2025 Lenten/seafood season. Available for a limited time, Zaxbys’ Southern Fried Shrimp features butterfly shrimp battered and fried in the same breading as the chain’s signature Chicken Fingerz.
The seasonal offering is available in several options including:
– Southern Fried Shrimp Meal -Eight Southern Fried Shrimp served with zesty Zaxtail Sauce (a blend of Zax Sauce and cocktail sauce with notes of horseradish), Texas Toast, Crinkle Fries, and a small drink for an average price of $10.29 (prices vary with location).
– New ZaxSeas Surf & Turf Meal – Eight Southern Fried Shrimp, Zaxtail Sauce, three Chicken Fingerz, Zax Sauce, Texas Toast, Crinkle Fries, and a small drink for an average price of $12.99.
– New Buffalo Shrimp – Eight Southern Fried Shrimp tossed in Buffalo Garlic Blaze and served with Ranch. The average price of the menu item comes out to $6.19.
– Asian Zensation Zalad with Southern Fried Shrimp – Southern Fried Shrimp on a bed of chopped mixed greens, red cabbage, carrots, Asian Slaw, and crispy wonton strips, drizzled with honey sesame Teriyaki Sauce and served with a Citrus Vinaigrette. The salad comes with a Veggie Egg Roll and carries an average price of $11.59.
Zaxbys’ Southern Fried Shrimp is available at participating locations through the end of April.
