There’s a Starbucks x Harry Potter promotion in South Korea that includes a Harry Potter-themed menu to go with Harry Potter merchandise, including a Sorting Hat Mug that will “sort” you into a Hogwarts House once warm/hot water/liquid is poured into it.
The ceramic mug includes a sorting hat lid and reveals the emblem of one of four Hogwarts Houses when warm.
Other merchandise includes Harry Potter-themed tumblers, a wand stirring stick/muddler, and more.
Harry Potter-themed menu items include:
– Hogwarts Golden Vanilla Latte – A vanilla and caramel latte topped with one of four Hogwarts-themed toppings inspired by the golden syrup of a treacle tart, Harry Potter’s favorite dessert.
– Slytherin Plum Green Tea – Inspired by the Slytherin house mascot and timely with it being the year of the Snake for the lunar new year.
– “Happee Birthdae Harry” Cake – Inspired by the cake Hagrid gave to Harry, this one is a chocolate pound cake layered with strawberry jam and pink cream cheese frosting.
– Platform 9 3/4 Cake – Red velvet, strawberry, yellow, and white cake layered with strawberry yogurt cream, white yogurt cream, and strawberry jam.
– Harry Potter Cookie Bar – A set of four butter cookies.
